art_n_garden, "options" are when you've click on the appropriate checkboxes within a Plants Database entry (to describe it as a perennial or annual, its mature height or spread, the zones it's hardy in, etc.) Some people have added a lot of checkboxes (I'm not tellin' how many I've done, lolol), and some have just a few. This is one of those areas in life where quality is definitely more important than quantity :o)

*blushing*...Dave is leaving out a critical piece of information, namely that a lot of the options "credited" to me are the result of some en masse additions of daylily cultivars. A lot of that work involved simple copy/paste within a spreadsheet, and then uploading the file into the PDB. (But yes, my wrist does hurt if I spend a lot of time editing the PDB :o)
