Live Oak
Quercus virginiana

This is the largest and oldest of over two dozen, 200 to 500 year old live oak trees on my six acre property in Northcentral Florida, zone 8b. Native Resurrection Fern and Green Fly Orchids (a CITES II plant) adorn the tree branches. This tree was estimated to be over 80 feet tall by a forester, and he said it is one of the largest in a three county area.
