Wonderful flowers on this plant, so victorian-ish, Grandmothers garden. Grown here on the coast of Texas and in Middle Tennessee..Did very well in both places

Do you think that I would have success with this plant in Southeastern, Massachusetts?

I have 2 Scabiosa columbaria, 1 Pink Mist and the other Butterfly Blue. My question is the stems are 8 to 12 inches long without any leaves. How far down should I pinch of the spent flowers?
