I don't know if this is the right forum for this post{ I hope so, if not, please forgive me} but this was 30+ years ago, so here goes: My Granny had a "hedge" of mums in our yard when I was growing up. As best as I can remember, they were florist mums that she had gotten over the years when her or my GP were hospitalized or someone in the family died. She had accumulated quite a collection. It used to be THE hospital and funeral flower- is it still?? She would evenly trim across the tops of them and they grew together into a beautiful short hedge. From a kid's point of view, can't remember how tall they were. They were all colors and I think they were "semi-evergreen". I have never seen anyone else grow them this way. I would like to find some that are suitable and try to grow them as a hedge like she did. Most of the few I now have die down in winter. BTW, this is in Ga. that I'm talking about and she is no longer with us. Thanks for any help with this!!!!!!
