Greene Hill Nursery in Waverly, Ala., [HYPERLINK@www.greenehill.com] grows and markets a line of plants called Grandma's Backyard Plants. The varieties have been around since before the turn of the 20th century. The series includes 65 deciduous flowering shrubs, such as Chaenomeles speciosa, Prunus granatum and Vitex agnes, and a line of antique roses. Plants are grown in 1- and 3-gallon containers and the nursery provides point-of-purchase material, including 8½-by-11-inch plastic signs and specialty tags.
