| You can throw away the outside,
then you eat the outside and
throw away the inside...
What did you just eat?????
Give me food, and I will live,
give me water and I will die.
What am I??????
What gets wetter and wetter the more
it dries????? |

| Aha! The correct wording is: You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you eat? isn't it? (I know the answer, but will wait for others to post.)
Here's another one:
It is greater than God and more evil than the devil.
The poor have it, the rich need it and if you eat it you'll die.
What is it?

| here's a few riddles for ya'll to think about :)
I can't rhyme no matter how hard I try. I am two things at once, what am I?
Occasionally I am short and often hot. When shown, I infrequently impress. What am I?
I am an English word of syllables 3, that when you take away 5 letters a male will remain. If you take away 4 letters, a female will remain. If you take away 3 lettters, a great man will appear. In total what am I?
There is the age old saying we use, Two's company and three's a crowd. But how would you describe four and five?
I am thinking of a 7 letter word in the English language that contains 10 words without rearranging any of its letters. What is the word?

| darius, you're right on...
but the original way I wrote
it is correct... I also thought
the way you wrote it was correct,
alot
of people leave the shuck on when
cooking corn on the grill.
so you really don't remove the
outside...this was an entire
morning discussion at work one day...lol
the afternoon was spent discussing proper etiquitte..
when two people appear at a door
at the very same time (like a
department store), which one
should step aside to let the other pass first. the one entering or the one leaving?
We actually emailed Miss Manners
to find out the answer...
Which one do you think?

| excellent!!!!
I was wrong in my thinking
when I first was asked the
question, I thought the
person entering should make
their presence known...live
and learn,
AS grandpappy says, bad manners
is worse than no money...
he drank alot... |
