This pic is adorable! What a flood of memories this brought to my heart! My grandmother had one of these plants (back in the early 70's) and she would call my mother each year about the same time of night (10 or 11) and would beg her to get us out of bed (even in our p.j.s, robe and slippers) to see her "miracle" plant. She would whisper to us (like the plant would hear) as we quietly had to tip-toe out on her backporch and she would tell us how this flower reminded her of the miracle of the Nativity. Since we live in Georgia, this plant would bloom in late November, which was a perfect pre-Christmas Season Miracle. I guess with our mild weather, this is why it bloomed in November??? Thanks for the memory of this beautiful plant of my childhood. I would LOVE to have one of my own. Where can I buy one?
