hi dave

frist THANK YOU for letting me belong to this stie.

My q is are there any way for the threads that i have read to go away. i'm trying to read ALL of the threads in each forum, and as there are many i have to go thru each page to find the last page.

i know i'm new and should not be asking q about your site, but i though you would forgive my this one time

Welcome riverrat2! I'm not Dave, but I'll take a stab at answering your question.

The threads in each forum are listed in reverse chronological order (most recent post descending through oldest post.)

Once you've accessed a post, the red "yes" in the New column will change to "No" unless/until someone else posts to that thread. That makes it somewhat easy to skip over those you've already seen.

Unfortunately, there's no way to display on the threads you haven't read yet, and hide those you have read.

If you're reading all the threads, I hope you have a really comfy chair because you're going to be here a while ;o) If there is something in particular you're looking for (e.g., "making compost tea" or "building a pond" you can try searching for threads that contain key words. That might help you quickly figure out whether your question has been answered before or if you should start a new thread. Let us know if we can answer any other questions you have.
