I did the farmers market scene last year. It was mainly for my plants and I did OK. The regulars came and went to the known local growers and then looked at my stuff. I tried a few times to sell veggis, but I didn't have the setup the local growers had. If you stick with it and grow quantities, you could compete with the known locals and make some money.
