planted one 20 yrs ago as a screen on our back yard, beautiful plant, good foliage, tasty blossoms (added them to spring fruit salads) and tasty fruit. In So. Ca. usuallt bloomed in April.
I had never noticed this plant that is growing in a yard down the street from where my brother lives until it bloomed. You are right. Everything about this plant is lovely. After you mentioned eating the blossums, the bud in the photo does look tasty. Thanks for your comments.
