    Lantana 'Dallas Red'
    Lantana camara

We have pink, yellow, orange and a couple of others, but this is my favorite. It has taken 3 years for this plant to do well, but is a beauty now.

    Hi trois,

I live in Abilene Tx. Is the Dallas Red Lantana a perennial in my area? I have several Lantana Gold planted which are perennial, and love them, but need some more colors. How would I get the Dallas Red?

    Thanks, Don Richardson

We got ours at Home Depot. They make little berries, which are full of seeds. If you are unable to find any locally, let me know and when ready, I will send you some.

Dallas Red is very common here. I got mine at a nursery in Whitesboro...they spread very well, and reseed themselves in the garden bed. Watch for new plants early in the summer. These can be dug and potted or transplanted at that time. This is only successful if the new plant is under a ft. tall. Larger plants go into shock, and do not recover.
