I was watering some of the pots and planters on our lower patio this evening when to my absolute surprise a hummer landed on my arm. He startled me which caused me to jump sending him airborne again. He hoovered a few feet away chattering at me for a few minutes before flying off.
I went back to watering and a few minutes later he was back. He landed again on my hose arm...this time I didn;t startle him and he just sat there for a bit looking at me.
I felt so intune with my garden at that moment. Obviously I have made a place he felt safe.
This was so amazing!
Hope it becomes a routine occurrence.
