Not only gorgeous but I have NEVER had a morning glory bloom so early! I live in northeast Ohio,so this is amazing. And on an 8 inch plant. This morning I also had a bloom on my Kyoko pink morning glory.I'm so excited!
WOW I am also in NE OH and I am jealous! I don't have blooms yet LOL I have this one growing as well, keeping my fingers crossed for blooms as pretty as yours!
I am in zone 5 also, although in Western US and my MGs are very slow to bloom. Have a few Grandpa Otts in bloom andsome from an old batch of mixed MG. I think one Jap. MG bloomed but I missed it.

I started all my MG seeds earlier than usual, this year, and it has paid off.(Well I had some help from the unseasonably warm weather)Now if I can just see some moonflowers before september,I'll consider it a rousing success!
