Well, I tried growing a Caladium indoors, not knowing any better, at the time of purchase...and it did okay, for the mostpart, but not great. I kept getting droopy leaves, and I couldn't tell if it was from underwatering, overwatering, or what. Finally, I cut the three droopers off, and my whole apartment got SO full of "Caladium" smell, it was all I could taste! I couldn't stand it, so I ended up planting it out in the back yard, up on a rocky area, where it shouldn't get disturbed by anyone. It gets some early morning sun, and some late afternoon sun, but the rest of the time it's in shade. After 3 days, it appears to be doing okay. Now, instead of seeing it, from 10' away, I look out the window and see it 35' away! Oh well, at least it didn't end up in the trash!
