in the august 2004 issue of fine gardening there is an article about making your own containers using something called hypertufa which is a mixture of peat moss, perlite, concrete and water plus concrete reinforcing fibers. since i'm not a crafty person i would never try this, but if anyone of you would like to know how to do it, let me know and i will be glad to put the directions on how to do it in this forum. it takes about 5 steps in all to make the containers.
