Hi,
Everyone I've got some protea questions and hopefully you'll be able to help me.
I've sown a couple of types of protea yesterday and as usual doubt starts to creep in...
I've bought these seeds from a South African seed company and they came with an extensive instruction sheet.
It told me not to put the seeds in a propagator or the greenhouse (even without covering with a lid), but to put them in bags/pots/trays outside covered by a protective netting. This is because they can't take still air.
Has anyone here grown protea's succesfully from seed? And what method did you use?
BTW I did pre-treat them with a smoke primer.
Thanks for your help,
Agnes
