Would I have a chance on getting it to bloom as an annual here if I bought it as a plant or does it bloom too late in the season? I don't think this one is a hybrid so why wouldn't it? Dave, It looks fine to me with that lens you have. I use a dinosaur camera (Minolta X-700) of 22 year vintage, and very much need to invest in a nice macro zoom lens. I haven't ever taken a bad picture with the camera.
