Another stellar day at the market. Sold all but 4 dozen ears of corn (out of 8 bushel) and came home with about 15 pounds of tomatoes out of 200! :) The cantaloupes are selling like crazy and they are so sweet and juicy...and I don't even like cantaloupe.
Everyone wants beans again...and so hopefully this Saturday we will have the new batch coming in.
We had two workers leave yesterday...they were reprimanded after causing us to lose 400 pounds of tomatoes and 300 pounds of squash, this after a warning last week! They were given the choice to do it as we wanted or not work here, they chose the latter. The 3 we have left worked well yesterday and this morning and we were more efficient than we have been in a while, it was a good day.
I am in awe at how well the market is doing in our new location, location IS everything. I am grateful that the Good Lord has blessed us so well also, despite the storns we've had.
I wish everyone a wonderful week and I'll see you again in a few days. :) Happy Day, Kathy
