Wonderful view from the bee - thank you. This is one of the few sun loving sages we have discovered that does well in the moving shade of a monster silver maple just across the boundary line of a neighbor. It grows with other "sun lovers" who also happen to have a surprising tolerance for enough shade to curl the toes of the easier-to-acquire Salvia splendens. Nothing seems to bother it, just thrills for the hummingbird and company. We winter cuttings in a closet over the cat litter box under a gro light.
