Butia capitata

Fruit from tree. Smells like apricots. Tasted fairly sweet, seed was black.

When do you harvest your fruit? I purchased a Pindo Palm about 6 weeks ago and I have fruit that is beginning to turn yellow/orange now. Today is July the 5th, 2006.
