Looks like we have about 50 to 75% loss due to the week long
deluge. The sun tried to come out this morning but only for
a few minutes. Most of the water has drained off but fields
are knee-deep in mud and almost impossible to walk through.
We were never in danger of water coming in the house but
had it about 2 feet deep in some fields. Saturdays market was very slow and we didn't have much to
sell anyway. The outlook for tomorrows market is worse.
We could probably haul everything in a grocery cart.
All is not gloom and doom ... it just looks that way!
