    Sue, I think these annual asters, callisteph??? are my favorite annuals for picking. I am growing the Standby variety and one called Astoria I believe. It looks like a regular daisy with the dark eye and of course they are the purple and pink. I think that is the only minus to these asters is the lack of lots of different colors.

    Hi Lenjo! How are you doing? I also grew the red ribbon, but they are really pink. :) They really had put on a show but flopped badly after our heavy rains - did you get some of that rain?

    The red and blue ribbons are Aster chinensis, from Thompson-morgan. I also grew the smaller 'lilliput blue moon'. Very pretty.

    Sue, Is your 2nd picture of the "liliput blue moon" aster? It's so cute.

    Hi Eileen, yes that is Liliput Blue Moon, it is really purple. I'll tell ya one thing, the asters do not like all of this rain we have been having! I was hoping for seeds...

    Sue, do you know what variety your Aster or Mum is? Beautiful!
