Hey Tim! I think #1 is monarda citridora - Lemon Mint. And your #2 flower is Godetia or Clarkia.

I still think it is lemon mint or lemon bergamont (monarda citiodora). An annual relative of bee balm. Look at these pictures

You are right, it looks just like the lemon mint! I guess whoever packed the mixture threw in a few extra seeds! I don't mind.
