I bought a plant of these a couple of years ago and it makes a beautiful blue/green mat. It does not have near the flowers your plant does. I understand they enjoy cool weather and we have had an early spring this year. I have mine in full sun,and it gets very hot here in the summer ,but it seems not to bother them at all. Happy gardening! Daryl
