The other day I was blessed with a kindness that I would like to share.
I recently wrote to a bulk seed company and asked if they would be willing to sell a pkt of their beautiful flowering kale [HYPERLINK@dstartz.com] seed to an ex-farmer. The other day I got a ' Customer Sample' bag in the mail that has seeds enough for 25-50 pkts.
So, in honor of a kindness shown, I want to pass it forward to all who are interested. They would be beautiful foliage for this winter! All you have to do is send me a S.A.S.E. for a/some flower pkt(s) of seeds. My address can be found at the Address Exchange [HYPERLINK@davesgarden.com]
One note, and it will be also be on the packets I send, because it is a bulk seed used in agriculture the seed is pelleted in a pesticide known as Thiram. (Thiram is used to protect fruit, vegetable, ornamental and turf crops from a variety of fungal diseases. It is also used as an animal repellent to protect fruit trees and ornamentals from damage by rabbits, rodents and deer.) All you need to do is use the packet, tweezers or a gloved hand to handle the seed.
Hope to hear from you!
