I've been looking for several gvarieties of Flowering Kale and Cabbage seeds at a reasonable price, only to find one or two varieties for sale and usually at pretty high costs for the amount of seeds received. So I've been thinking about starting a Co-Op to purchase next year's seeds.

I've found several dealers for:

Flowering Cabbage
- Osaka Red, White, Pink, Mix

- Tokyo

Flowering Kale

- Chidori Red, White
- Coral Prince, Queen
- Kamone Red, White
- Nagoya Red, White, Rose, Mix
- Peacock Red, White, Mix
- Pigeon Red, White, Victoria, Purple
- Sunrise, Sunset
- White Crane

And I'll continue to try to find other varieties and dealers.

The prices I've found so far have been between $10-$35 per 1,000 seed. With an average seed packet containing around 25-50 seeds that would make the average price of a packet of seeds in this Co-Op between 25 cents - 88 cents /25 seeds and 50 cents - $1.75/50 seeds, excluding S&H.

The new seed season for the dealers begins in September. The planting season on this type of seed starts around April/May and runs through mid-September. I was hoping to get a Co-Op started by October so as not to miss out on the availability of any varieties.
