Tim Palmyra, VA (Zone 7a) Baa,
I'm glad you posted the latin name, otherwise I would have posted Prairie Coneflower (Ratibida columnifera) :)
Georgiaredclay lagrange, GA (Zone 7a) Thanks, I had been told mexican hats before. They are so unusual around here and a pretty flower also. Jim
Georgiaredclay lagrange, GA (Zone 7a) Will these come back or will I need to save some of the seeds?
Larkie Camilla, GA (Zone 8a) GAclay,
they reseed in my wildflower patch and I'm in south GA.
Georgiaredclay lagrange, GA (Zone 7a) Thanks for the replies. I noticed a big patch in a yard here in town and the flower looked the same. However my plant is only about 18" and the other is about 5' tall. I intend to stop and work up a swap for some seeds.
