They definitely have thicker leaves, but as for producing more jelly, I would have no idea, as these are growing in an arboretum and seriously doubt they would apprectiate people hacking off the leaves to see what sorts of stuff is inside. My guess, though, is they would produce far less, as the leaves are much firmer and probably a lot more fibrous/less juicy.
