I live in the Central Valley of California. I bought two 1 gal. Vitex trifolia f. purpurea 'Fasciation' and trained them into small patio tree form for Ft. entry cantainer -5 gal size. Formed head of 2 ft. dia. and 5 ft high, and they are beautiful. They can take the summer heat with plenty of water in container settings. Will frost back in winter if not covered or under porch or patio. Hope this catches on as they are a great accent plant for entryways.
