OK everyone, we've planned and plotted and waited for months...here's the finished work!
Mom brought it by this afternoon and I got some shots of it...we done good gals...it's a keeper.
She started to machine quilt it, but decided that it really deserved better, so only the block outlines are machine done...all the rest of the work is done by hand! That's right...hand quilted folks. She just likes a little getting the green binding whipped into place and it will be ready to head to the Roundup circuit.
Tomorrow, our little quilt will be famous...she's taking it to the monthly meeting at the Museum Of The American Quilters Society and showing it off. Yep, it gets to rub shoulders with all of the famous quilts there.
And now, here it is...
