This is in the Anders Run Natural Area. This tree is probably on the order of a couple hundred years old. Tall, large white pines like this were once valued for making the masts of sailing ships.
It's good that you enjoy nature together, Kelli. I have many great memories of family camping trips that I treasure. I especially love redwood forrests.
