Beautiful plant piedmthq - Mine is in the yard and the cherries are not that large - perhaps yours has more TLC. It is hardy for me here in zone 7b.

The entire photo is beautiful, piedmthq - thanks for posting it. Have you ever had a problem with white flies on your Jerusalem cherry? I had to get rid of mine because of them...this was indoors, in zone 3.
Thanks again for the gorgeous photo!

What a beautiful picture! The whole composition of the photograph is lovely, and it seems so much a great example of fall colors. Thanks for sharing it with us!

I took this picture in my kitchen with a new digital camera that I just purchased. The plant in the picture is "Red Giant", this type of Jerusalem Cherry has the largest berries. The berries are orange for approx a month, then turn more redish.

Yes, I have had many probelms with whiteflies, they attach this plant all the time. But luckley in garden stores they sell, "Systemic Insecticides". Its a power, that you mix into the top layer of the plants soil, you can use it indoors or out. The chemical goes into the plants "blood/sap stream". Any whitefly trying to eat your Jerusalem Cherry will not live. You can use it on most houseplants, the stuff is great.
