I know this is a little premature, but I'm watching the snow creep down the mountain sides and thinking about the winter to come. I think most of you Cool Climes gardeners get enough snow to plow it out of your driveways, etc. Do you have issues with keeping your garden beds from getting buried under the push piles? It can sure slow down spring start-up, though the mulch is good! There is a flower bed under this pile at the end of our parking area. It always does fine, but it's always late to melt off.
