Wow! That's amazing! It splits right at the stem?

Do you know which part is smoked?

Yes, it is the leaves, but I have never tried, I don't smoke anyway.
Nice to hear from you, the frostweed is amazing. We don't get freezes very often, so it doesn't happen every year for us. Do you have this plant? If not, I will be glad to send you some seed, please let me know.
Another neat thing about this plant is that it will grow in full sun and in the shade, so it is very versatile and reliable.
I guess you can tell that I like this plant.

I'd appreciate the seeds if you'd like to share some. I'm always looking for natives and shade plants.

Lol, I don't smoke either, just curious is all.

My trade list is on my member page. Just let me know what you're interested in.

Thanks,
Michelle

Hello Michelle, your Frostweed seeds will be out to you tomorrow.
I cheked your trade lists, and wow! you are a busy girl. It makes me feel good to know that there are young people out there who are so dedicated to gardening.
If you still have it, I would like some of the white and pink Milkweed mix, if not, just the white.
Thank you, you are a sweetheart.
Josephine.

I might add, they are a great Butterfly magnet, especially the Zebra swallowtail.

Hello Moko, thank you for your comment. Were you referring to the Frostweed? or to the Milkweed. I suppose that you garden with native plants, and that makes me very happy.
Josephine.

Thanks, that was speedy!

I need your addy please, I thought you were in the address exchange but I guess not.

I agree more people my age should take up an interest in gardening, they seem to have so little respect for nature, I worry what the world is going to come to.

P.S. I'll send along some extras, I have a bunch of natives sitting in the fridge, more than I can sow myself.

Hello Michelle, I don't know about the address exchange, how do I participate?
I had your address from the time before when I sent you seeds.
Please let me know how to get on the address exchange.
You are a very special young lady, and I am sure your parents are very proud of you.
Josephine.

I hope the link comes through alright: http://davesgarden.com/address_exchange/
You just put in your addy and you have access to all the other participants too. I used to wonder whether it was a good idea to just post that personal info but I went ahead and did it anyways.

Lol, my parents are proud but they'd prefer that I put my efforts into college.
