ok so this may not be so strange is where i eighter get my chocolate mint or where it traces its lineage to anywho mine NEVER gets the dark stems this will be my 5th year straight with it (its kinda my fave) i think i know my choclate mint by now

You may know your mint but do you know what chocolate mint is supposed to look like? I suspect that at least part of the chocolate mint name is derived from its dark chocolatey stems. I would describe the mint as tasting similar to a York peppermint patty.
