Toxicodendron, I was answering your post when the server crashed so I will go ahead and answer your question now. You had asked if there was any special treatment that should be given the plant in order to encourage it to bloom. I have not done anything special for the plant at all and have never fertilized it. It produced the flower stalk quite some time ago and the blooms took a long time to open. They have been open for about 2 weeks so the blooms last a long time. I did put it into the greenhouse when the freezes started happening and it seems to like it in there. The photo of your greenhouse was lost when the server went down. Yours looks pretty packed like mine. :o) How warm do you keep it?
