Today I started four more flats of perennials, watered all the already planted flats (lots of stuff up), moved potting mix from little GH to big GH, oh ya, raked the pea gravel even in the big GH, moved most of the boxes of containers to the potting area, and updated my records. I was gonna start filling pots but I'm just too whipped. Need to start a few more flats of seed tomorrow and start filling pots. I'll be gone all week to Mexico (don't get too excited - it's Juarez) for my "paying job". DH is gonna keep things watered while I'm gone. He's been REALLY sick with the upper resp. virus that's been going around but says he's up to it.
I keep looking at all the little seedlings that are growing in the flats and thinking...all of those have to be potted up in the next eight weeks or so...anyone feel like visiting Northern Indiana? (lol)
I know everyone is getting started and just wanted to take a second to wish you the best sales year EVER! This is going to be our first year and I'm looking at it as a learning experience. People keep asking me questions about our business plan that I can't answer...want to "feel our way through" this first year and just see what happens.
Grow little plants, grow...
