this is a strange flower, I found that the first flowers of Spring were all white, then
when it got warmer, all red, then gradually the bicolored flowers arrived in Summer...at last!!
As a salvia for the garden, it's hardy, naturally bushy, and very long flowering.. definitely a good one!
