I am thinking of making a purchase soon, but not sure which would be a better deal for me. I have a lot of leaves to deal with. I ended up throwing them all in hubby's garden patch, but I'm going to have to do something with them soon. I'd like to get those leaves into the ground one way or another to help with the soil. I did start a compost bin last year, but its just a trash can with holes drilled in it, no room for all those leaves. I saw in another post that I could just till them into the ground where they are or I could buy a chipper and chop them all up and use as mulch? The chipper would be good too, because I have a ton of little bitty branches that fell onto the lawn over the winter.
Which do you think would be put to better use a chipper or a tiller and also any suggestions of a brand that will do the job and not break the bank? I'd appreciate any of your suggestions.
Thanks,
Jen
