I'm a NM native living in the NC mtns, and still hoping to grow some NM chilis. I found some poblano plants at Lowe's, but no anaheim. I think the poblanos are pretty similar to the anaheim. What do you all think? Tried the anaheim last year from seed, but they never got going, although everything else in my garden did quite well.

Thanks for all the good growing info on this forum. Based on that, I've decided to either 1)grow them in containers, or 2) order the frozen ones from Hatch!!!
