does anyone know what kind of apple I have growing?? Some are falling to the ground. The one I tasted was still tart. I figured they weren't ripe yet.

Thanks Jake, it was here when we moved in last year and there were no signs of fruit by then (late August) so this is all new to me. I am looking forward to an apple pie though! Julie
