This is the second of my two varieties of geranium, it is tall - to 24 inches, not creeping like my other one.

it looks a lot like the cranesbill in my garden, i don't know the proper name for it, are the leaves that tall or just the flower stems?

If I had to guess I'd say Geranium oxonianum but that's not a positive. I'm sure Mark might be able to help... Hey Mark... your needed!

I second Poppysue's suggestion but identifying which one is almost impossible. quite often the only difference between cultivars is leaf size and/or shape.
