I was cleaning containers for the plants today, which I store in an old shed. I left the door open and this bird got trapped inside, trying to get out through the glass at the top. It was a beautiful bird and it is a little slimmer than a robin. The front, breast and belly is as orangy as the tail. Its wings are brown - could it be a juvenile oriole? I looked in my bird book but can't find it. Has a very sharp looking beak.
The poor thing was about crazy, I went in took its picture and shushed it out the door. I hope it is OK.
