My 23 year old daughter is moving into her first house this weekend, and needs to buy a mower. She is trying to save money, and needs to be able to do the small lawn herself. I read and have heard great things about reel mowers, and want to get her one for her house. My husband however - insists that it is a bad idea, and she needs a gas powered mower. He scoffs every time it is mentioned. He thinks she could handle a regular mower, or get her boyfriend to do it - or pay someone. She needs advice quick, and so do I!
