What are your fave old-timey fragrant plants/flowers? Does it remind you of any special times or any person?
Mine is [no big surprise] OF vining petunias that my late Granny grew and loved and now I do as well. I loved to water them in the evenings just so I could smell them. I loved sticking my nose in the flower and inhaling deeply and I would almost suck the flower up my nose-LOL!! I still do that as I love that fragrance. Mine are blooming now and I am so enchanted with them.
Also, I love 4'oclocks and could not wait til every evening when they would open up. I would sit on the ground just smelling them and I still do it today. I cannot wait til mine are blooming in a few weeks!!
