Beautiful clear drive in to work today. Stars shining in the clear dark sky... supposed to rain like crazy later today, so I drove slow and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Found me an ag radio station, so I got to listen to the big seed companies pitching their brand of xyz super-duper hybrid super-sweet corn seed - used throughout California and the Corn Belt - superior emergence and quick, strong growth - mines the best! Buy mine! Yes, yes! ...can't wait! Can taste that sweet corn, raw, right off the stalk! Nibble, nibble (maybe I was a racoon in a former life?) ... Cows and corn. Corn and cows. ... someday ...
