an older fellow in our town has an antique "junk" store and he had a sign out front "Dahlia bulbs for sale". Of course, I stopped and he had cardboard boxes of dahlias ( I mean ALOT). Some were obviously rotting but some looked really good. He has NO idea what is what but he was selling them for 25 cents per tuber. I got one double tuber for 50 cents and 2 singles- all had growing eyes showing.
Will be interesting to see what they are :)
