I finally found the type I wanted today - the one that works on water pressure rather than battery, for $40 at Home Depot. I'm pretty excited because the location of my backyard spigot is definitely not easy to get to and there's no place to store a lot of hose near the spigot.

With a large backyard, I need a lot o'hose to get to everything. So now my big hose cart with pneumatic tires can stay out aways, and a shorter 50' connection hose can be reeled in and easily stored in between uses. It reels more slowly than I thought it would (the diagram indicates you're supposed to bolt it down - I was expecting it to nearly blast off when we tested it by holding it down with human foot power *grin*) Not sure the bolts are necessary, but we'll see.
