Black swallowtail catepillars love parsley and other members of the parsley family. Everytime my curly parsley is looking good, they devour it before I am able to do so.
well, now this could be my mysterious plant-shredder :) Last year in june, something came and behind my back, and Ate my parsley plant down to the roots... how far north do these parsley worms live?
Zem, I don't know how where their northern range ends. But, they sure can munch fast. I was amazed and amused as I photographed them eating my plants. I wished that I had videotaped them or used the movie function on my camera. These did not eat all of the stems to the ground. Thanks for your comments.
