Hello all - I am looking for suggestions for a good foilage plant that I can grow outdoors with little care in my zone. I am listed 8a by the maps but our weather swings a lot here so would rather be safe and pick a plant hardy to zone 7. I have a large wooded area with lots of shade and spotty sunlight. It stays damp as long as we have normal rainfall. I would like a low growing plant with interesting foilage that will spread. It does not have to take foot traffic but that would be preferable. I also do not want something that will spread so fast that I cannot control it. Oh, and I would like something that is perennial or evergreen. Ok, any suggestions?
Thanks
